I love the advent season and all that goes along with it. Growing up I remember the beautiful advent wreath in our church and the lighting of the candles each week. Something I was introduced to when we moved to the USA is the Jesse Tree. It’s such a special way to move through the advent season. I love the smell of Christmas… pine, cinnamon, cranberry. There’s nothing better than a stunning Christmas candle. I go through a few over the holidays. Mercy House Global has some wonderful options.
 I am outdoors a lot while I work at the barn and so a good hand cream is a must. Ingram’s Camphor Cream from South Africa really is amazing. Highly recommend.
 My mom was gifted an Amaryllis when I was still in middle school and it multiplied every year in phenomenal ways to the point where we all had one in our adult homes. I have not had as much luck but I do enjoy trying with one every year around this time.Â
