ABOUT GOSPELSPICE

We inspire Christ followers to delight in God and to love our generation in His Name.

The GospelSpice Ministries provide resources to empower Christian leaders across generational, social, ethnic and geographical boundaries towards more intimacy with Jesus Christ and discipleship effectiveness through a Biblical Christocentric foundation. We provide a safe environment for spiritual and community growth empowering people to know Christ more intimately, serve one another more powerfully, and reach the world for Jesus.

We are a non-profit corporation, expressly intent on giving all the funds we receive (once administrative costs are paid) to Christian agencies that are on the frontlines to fight human trafficking at home and abroad. WE NEED YOUR HELP! FIND OUT HOW TO PAY IT FORWARD – PLAY IT FORWARD – PRAY IT FORWARD.

What We Believe

Gospel Spice Ministries Doctrinal Statement: the Nicene Creed.

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy Christian and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

In more details...

We believe that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6)

We believe that “salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

We believe “if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)

We believe “if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

We believe that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” and can fully redeem and powerfully use even those who consider they have been “the worst.” (1 Timothy 1:15)

We believe God “is patient, not wanting any to perish but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)

We believe that all scripture is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe that every believer in Christ is the “temple of the Holy Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:19)

We believe we have been “baptized by one Spirit into one body” (1Corinthians 12:13) and recognize the value and equality of all members of the body of Christ. We are “all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28)

We actively support the unity of all believers eclipsing all denominational, economic, or ethnic diversities.

We believe we have “different kinds of gifts but the same Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:4)

We believe that “our citizenship is in heaven and we eagerly await a Savior from there the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so they will be like His glorious body. (Philippians 3:21)

“And so shall we forever be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

Until then, we believe we are to strive to “live holy and Godly lives as we look forward to the day of God.” (2 Peter 3:11,12)

A word to you from Stephanie:

I love few things more than heart-to-heart interaction with my siblings in  Christ. GospelSpice Ministries and the GospelSpice Podcast were born as the result of my desire to share what God has done in my life—to His glory, and my delight!

I am so impressed by what God has done for me, both in my circumstances and in my inner life, that I deeply long to display His Glory in my weakness. I hope you will find that I do not take myself very seriously and that I like few things more than a good laugh at myself. The stories I share, taken from the wealth of my personal walk with Him, are wholeheartedly aimed at expressing His utter splendor, utmost wisdom, trustworthy power and lavish love. What a God we have!

I am full-blooded, full-stubborn French. (That’s what my husband would say. Huh, scratch that. HAS said. Time and time again.) Born and raised in France, I considered myself atheist—”God” was an outdated man-made invention, and religion a crutch for the weak. Not for me, thank you very much: I was strong, capable, smart and self-sufficient. At age 16, I applied and was accepted into a program to be a foreign exchange student to the United States during my senior year of high school. There, I was introduced to the claims and the Person of Christ for the very first time. He progressively became inescapable and irresistible, to the point that I surrendered my life to Him as my Savior and Lord and thus became, to use C.S Lewis’ words, “the most reluctant convert in all of [France].” And a free, happy one, too. After I returned to my homeland to attend University in Paris, I met the handsome African man who was to later become my husband, thus initiating the incredible adventure of a cross-cultural marriage now two decades in the making.  After our two children were born, we moved to Africa where we stayed for almost a decade. We also lived in London. We have now been in the US for a few years. That’s the short readers’ digest version of the last 20 years of my life.

When I teach, I often intersperse details of my journey to make Him my All in all because I hope these stories will point to Him. His glory, my delight. I am an evangelical, born again Christian who believes that the Bible is God-breathed and usable for teaching and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

SOLI DEO GLORIA!!!
